3D printing technology at Peoria’s Jump Trading Simulation and Education Center is changing the way doctors perform surgery. A pediatric cardiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is using the technology to better evaluate congenital heart disease in children. It’s already changed the outcomes of surgeries and the lives of his small patients.
