Austrian 3D model and scratch build enthusiast Nick Karatzides has posted several tutorials online for using 3D printed parts in scratch built dioramas, and written a manifesto of sorts explaining why 3D printed parts are part of the scratch build process. He also sells 1/18 scale 3D models on Shapeways that can be downloaded and printed for use with scale modelling and scratch builds.
