Shining 3D Tech to Raise $70 Million & Open US Subsidiary

The company responsible for China’s first OTC stock offered in the 3D digitizing and 3D printing industries, Shining 3D Tech, says they plan to spend some $2.4 million to set up a wholly-owned US subsidiary of the company, while looking to raise $70 million in additional funding. The funding will be used to expand on the company’s M&A action, they tell us.

Artec 3D Brings Incredible Shapify Booths to New Jersey Mall & I Got to Try One Out!

Today, Artec 3D and Mirror Image 3D have announced that they are bringing Artec’s Shapify Booth to the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ. This new installation will allow anyone attending the mall to have a full body scan created of themselves either by themselves or with friends/loved ones in just 12 seconds flat. That’s right, the scanners, which we reported on back in October of last year, will be made available to shoppers in the Garden State.
