While the technologically savvy are quite aware of the revolution 3D printing is forging in manufacturing, globally, it’s certainly not lost on most, that there is a definite meeting in the middle as the technology progresses. And while 3D printing is being used to make a plethora of high-quality components in industries like that of automotive and aerospace, it’s certainly co-existing pleasantly with a bevy of traditional methods still concretely in place.

If there’s anything Dawson Riverman has learned, it’s that community makes us all better, stronger, and more capable of realizing our dreams. The Oregon teenager was born without fingers on his left hand but, thanks to loving, supportive parents, Riverman’s life has been rich and rewarding despite the limitations imposed by this relatively rare birth defect.

From email to super hero is, as it turns out, a surprisingly short journey.

Marvel Universe LIVE! has been entertaining the crowds across the country as the exciting super hero-themed stage extravaganza tours, but perhaps no community has felt the impact quite so much as Dallas, Texas did recently. Erin Burgy from Marvel Universe LIVE! wrote an email to e-NABLE‘s Jen Owen in October, and it all took off from there.
