Michigan Firm 3DXTech Pushing the Boundaries in 3D Printing Filament Production

Carbon nanotubes are exceptionally tiny cylinders of carbon atoms which look something like this; imagine a sheet of joined hexagonal shapes only a single atom thick. Rolling that sheet up into a tubular form yields a „carbon nanotube,“ and depending upon how you orient those atoms and roll the sheet, the arrangement of atoms can be hundreds of times stronger than steel and six times lighter.
