Scientists Attempt to 3D Print a Working Human Heart from Fat Cells

Researchers and doctors at the University of Louisville have attempted to 3D print a copy of the heart of a sick patient using the patient’s very own fat cells. Using a 3D printer, the scientists are hoping to be able to create a ‘bioficial’ heart, which is a blend of the natural and the artificial.
